Best time to visit tanzania

Tanzania is best visited during the high season, from June and July, when wildlife visibility is at its peak. A Tanzania safari becomes a magnificent experience in the Serengeti National Park, which serves the massive movement of the wildebeest, and February being an excellent month to see wildebeest calving.

Tanzania’s High or Peak season (June – October) is associated with the following;

  • A pleasant weather (Dry and cool)
  • The most packed
  • There aren’t many newborn animals.
  • High rates
  • Good for photography safaris
  • Reservations must be made far in advance

The Low or Green season (January – March and November- December) is associated with the following;

  • Hot and sometimes rainy weather
  • The least packed
  • There’re many newborn animals
  • Lowest rates
  • The greenest, most spectacular scenery with the best light of the year for photography safaris
  • There is no need to reserve too far in advance.

Whether you are planning for Wildlife Safari o the mainland of Tanzania, a day trip, Mount Kilimanjaro Expedition or Zanzibar Beach Holiday, the dry season is most preferable time. This is especially beneficial for Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing because the weather is more prone to pose serious problems during the rainy season.
