Tanzania’s High or Peak season (June – October) is associated with the following;

- The most packed
- There aren’t many newborn animals.
- High rates
- Good for photography safaris
- Reservations must be made far in advance
The Low or Green season (January – March and November- December) is associated with the following;
- Hot and sometimes rainy weather
- The least packed
- There’re many newborn animals
- Lowest rates
- The greenest, most spectacular scenery with the best light of the year for photography safaris
- There is no need to reserve too far in advance.
Whether you are planning for Wildlife Safari o the mainland of Tanzania, a day trip, Mount Kilimanjaro Expedition or Zanzibar Beach Holiday, the dry season is most preferable time.
